Parent-Tot Sports N' Stories Returns to Clarendon Hills Park District
Two Days of Classes Provided to Meet Famiily Schedules
Moms, dads, grandparents or an other significant adult in a child’s life can jump into the worlds of both sports and children’s literature through the Parent-Tot Sports N’ Stories program at the Clarendon Hills Park District. Each week adults will assist youngsters ages 2-3 learn a new sport while enjoying a mind-awakening story. Tee-ball, soccer, floor hockey and basketball will be among the sports introduced at this popular class. To help meet busy family schedules, this program will be offered two days per week over the winter. Families are encouraged to sign up for one or both sessions. A class has been scheduled on Thursday mornings from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., January 21-February 25. A Saturday session has been scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., January 23-February 27. All instructors are from the team at Sports Kids. Classes will not meet on March 26, March 31 and April 2 when local schools are on spring break. All activities will be held at the Community Center, 315 E. Chicago Avenue. There is a $60.00 resident fee ($75.00 non-residents) to participate in this program.
