Patch Weekend Weather: Possibly Wet Saturday, Clear and Dry Sunday

The last weekend before school starts will start with a chance of rain and end with pleasant conditions.

It may not be the last weekend of summer for meteorologists, but it is for families with students in Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills public schools.

Class at Hinsdale Central and Hinsdale South high schools begins Wednesday, while District 181 elementary and middle schools start Thursday.

Saturdays and Sundays are about to get a lot more sacred.

During the day Saturday, there's a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Skies will be partly sunny and the high temperature will reach 80 degrees. Winds will be low, traveling north-northeast at around 5 mph.

Saturday night, that 40 percent chance of precipitation sticks around. Skies will be mostly cloudy and the temperature will bottom out at 65 degrees.

Sunday 

It's a short but sweet forecast for Sunday. Skies will be mostly sunny during the day with the high temperature again expected to be right around 80 degrees.

Sunday night will feature partly cloudy skies and the low temperature will be in the mid 60s.
