Patient Pushed Employee While Trying To Leave Hospital: Cops

Burglary To Vehicle
An unknown suspect entered a victim's vehicle while it was parked in her driveway in the 900 block of South Bruner Street between 3:40 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 20 and rummaged through the interior. Nothing was reported missing from the vehicle.

DUI
Audrey Vela-Hotwagner, 49, of Homer Glen was charged with DUI-alcohol and failure to signal when required at 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 21 at Center and Grant streets. She refused testing to determine her BAC.

Theft
A victim at Manorcare, 600 W. Ogden Ave. reported that she was missing $7 from her purse that she keeps in her room at 5:42 p.m. on Aug. 22.
Battery
A known suspect pushed a hospital employee out of his way while trying to leave Hinsdale Hospital, 120 N. Oak St. at 4 p.m. on Aug. 23. Charges are pending the suspect’s release from hospital’s care.
Theft Of Mislaid Property
A victim reported two checks and a credit card were missing from his wallet that was found in the area of Ogden Avenue and Washington Street. The victim reported that he might have placed his wallet on the counter at Walgreens, 15 Grant Square.
