Pedestrian Damages Hinsdale Mailboxes: Cops
In another case, a bomb threat was called into a local business, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – In the last few days, Hinsdale police handled cases involving damage, a bomb threat, trespassing, theft, threatening messages and DUI. Here is information from the latest Hinsdale police reports:
Damage
- A 26-year-old Plainfield man was arrested about 9 p.m. Thursday on seven counts of misdemeanor criminal damage. He was accused of damaging several mailboxes as he was walking in the 200, 300 and 400 blocks of 55th Street. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Someone threw eggs Feb. 10 at a house in the 600 block of East First Street. The damage was reported six days later.

- Someone called in a bomb threat about 9:30 a.m. Monday at the medical office building at 908 N. Elm St. Local police searched with the help of police from Oak Brook, Clarendon Hills and Westmont. Nothing was found. People were allowed to go back into the building. The case is pending.
Trespassing
- A 45-year-old Oro Valley, Arizona, woman was arrested about 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 306 W. Fourth St., on a charge of trespassing. She was issued a no-trespass warning four days earlier. The woman was released and given a date to appear in court.
Theft

- An antiques business at 5 W. Second St. reported Friday that a person stole items from the business during a civil dispute. The case is pending.
Threatening messages
- A resident in the 10 block of East Kennedy Lane told police Feb. 13 that a known suspect sent threatening text messages and emails for more than a month. The case is pending.
DUI
- A 40-year-old woman who lives in the 10 block of 58th Street in Clarendon Hills was arrested shortly before midnight Saturday at Ogden Avenue and County Line Road on charges of DUI, speeding, transportation of open alcohol by a driver and improper lane use. The woman refused to submit to testing to determine her blood-alcohol content.
