Pet Walk Festival Turns 30 This Year

HINSDALE, IL – A number of events are planned throughout the day of this year's Pet Walk Festival fundraiser, the yearly event that supports the Hinsdale Humane Society. This year, the Pet Walk will celebrate its 30th anniversary and be held at the new Pet Rescue & Resource Center at 21 Salt Creek Lane in Hinsdale from 2-8 p.m. on Saturday, June 8.

The Hinsdale Humane Society has outlined some of the events planned for that day. Adoption hours will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

From 2-5 p.m.:

Children will enjoy the Kids Corner with raffle items, activities, fun and pets. Stroll the vendor shopping mall featuring local businesses and watch pet demonstrations and more. The fun also includes a DJ, food options, a cash prize raffle and a silent auction.

From 5-8 p.m.:

A concert by The Millennials, a local high school band playing rock, pop and dance music. Food options, lawn games and a silent auction round out the evening. This concert is BYOBeverage and BYOBlanket.

Tickets are available online here. They are $25 for adults, $10 for kids and free for those age five and younger.
