'Pet Of The Week' Finds Forever Home

The Hinsdale Humane Society said Batman has gone home with his new family.

HINSDALE, IL — Batman, the 2.5-year-old we highlighted as last week's Patch "Pet of the Week," has found a forever home. The Hinsdale Humane Society said Monday that he is happy in his new home.

Described as "a superhero in a dog package," Batman looks happy with his new family, pictured above.

Several other dogs and cats remain waiting to find their families. Visit the other cats and dogs available for adoption at Hinsdale Humane Society soon.

The society is at 21 Salt Creek Lane in Hinsdale. It's open from 2 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays; noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. It is closed on Mondays.
