Pool Burglary, Dumpster Fire: Hinsdale Cops
Someone broke into the Hinsdale public pool and stole money, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:
Pool burglary
- Someone broke a concession stand window between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. Sunday at the Hinsdale public pool, 500 W. Hinsdale Ave. A total of $300 in cash was stolen from the register drawer. The case is pending.
Dumpster fire

- A dumpster was set on fire about 10:30 p.m. Monday at Madison Elementary School, 611 S. Madison St. A witness told police about seeing fireworks in the area and cars leaving the parking lot. The case is pending.
Leaving accident
- Dustie A. Wilson, 31, of Portage, Indiana, was cited Thursday on charges of leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report the accident to police. According to a police report, Wilson drove away after she backed into another person's trailer. The incident was about 9 p.m. Wednesday at Shell gas station, 210 E. Ogden Ave.
DUIs

- Raul Leon Zacarias, 28, of Clarendon Hills, was cited about 1:30 a.m. Thursday at Ogden Avenue and Route 83 on charges of DUI, no valid driver's license, driving an uninsured vehicle, improper lane use and failure to signal when required. Zacarias submitted to testing that indicated he was over the legal limit. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- A person was suspected of driving under the influence of drugs about 11 p.m. Friday in the 900 block of South County Line Road. Involved in a crash, the person submitted a blood sample for lab testing. Charges are pending the results.
Forgery
- Someone intercepted a check mailed June 5 at the post office drop box in the 900 block of North Elm Street. The suspect altered the recipient information and deposited the check. The crime was reported Thursday. The case is pending.
Warrant
- Alejandro Rosas, 50, of Oak Forest, was arrested about 3 a.m. Monday in the 900 block of South Bodin Street on a DuPage County warrant. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
