Property Damage At Hinsdale Central, DUIs: Hinsdale Blotter
Hinsdale Police reports through May 7.

The following items were taken from the Hinsdale police blotter. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
DUI
- Cong Geng, 28, of Chicago, was arrested at 1:16 a.m. May 6 at York and Ogden for DUI-alcohol, speeding and one tail light.
- Samuel Shils, 25, of Western Springs, was arrested at 8:01 p.m. May 1 at Route 83 and Ogden for DUI-alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. A witness observed the suspect’s license plate number and Western Springs located the suspect at his residence.
- Matthew Gall, 22, of Countryside, was arrested at 12:20 a.m. at York and Ogden for DUI-alcohol and speeding.

- An unknown person damaged an exterior electrical conduit, junction box and switch on the football field, smashed two electrical wall switches, bent a garage door, and damaged the door spring at the concession stand at Hinsdale Central High School, 5500 South Grant St., sometime between 3 p.m. April 27 and 8 a.m. May 1.
Domestic Battery
- William Zaleski, 80, of the 0-100 block of South Adams, was arrested at 11:05 a.m. May 4 in the 0-100 block of South Adams for domestic battery. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.
Theft

- Two large planters were stolen from the victim's front porch in the 400 block of North Monroe sometime between 3:30 p.m. May 6 and 8 a.m. May 7. The planters were valued at $800 each.
