Purse Stolen From Car Parked At Amita Hinsdale: Cops

The most recent Hinsdale police reports include three DUI arrests as well.

The following information is from the Hinsdale Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Burglary To Vehicle

An unknown suspect broke the passenger side window of the victim's vehicle while it was parked in the parking garage and stole the victim's purse at Amita Hinsdale Hospital, 120 N. Oak St. between April 30 at 7 p.m. and May 1 at 5:10 a.m.

DUI

Brandon G. Speth, 26, of Downers Grove was stopped at Charleston and County Line roads at 2:05 a.m. on May 3 and charged with DUI-alcohol, speeding and expired driver's license less that one year. He was stopped for speeding, observed to be under the influence of alcohol and refused testing to determine BAC.

Georgi D. Atanasov, 42, of Rosemont was stopped in the 300 block of East Ogden Ave. at 10:19 p.m. on May 5 and charged with DUI-alcohol, DUI greater than 0.08, improper lighting and improper lane use. He was stopped for improper lane use and no tail lights, observed to be under the influence of alcohol and submitted testing that indicated he was over the legal limit.

Eva Nevarez, 56, of Fort Mill, South Carolina was stopped at 55th Street and I-294 at 12:30 a.m. on May 4 and charged with DUI-alcohol, DUI greater than 0.08, speeding, improper lane use, uninsured vehicle and improper use of registration. She was stopped for improper lane use and speeding, observed to be under the influence of alcohol and submitted testing that indicated she was over the legal limit.
