HINSDALE, IL — If you're looking to recycle your Christmas tree this year, Republic Services will begin collecting trees on Tuesday, Jan. 2, through Friday, Jan. 12. According to the village, holiday trees can be placed at the curb for collection at no additional cost. The holidays have also delayed garbage and recycling collection. The village said due to the Christmas and New Year holidays, Monday refuse and recycling collection will be picked up on Tuesday. Thursday pick-ups will take place on Friday.
