Recycle Holiday Lights At Clarendon Hills Police Department

CLARENDON HILLS, IL — The Clarendon Hills Police Department is accepting worn out strings of holiday lights and extension cords until Feb. 1. According to the village, you can find the collection bin in the lobby of the police department, located at 448 Park Ave.

This program is part of the Elgin Recycling program. The village said this is the ninth year of running a holiday light recycling program along with 49 villages. Last year, Elgin Recycling recycled 103,243 lbs of holiday lights that would have ended up in landfills.
