“Technology offers so many opportunities to learn and connect with each other in ways that we previously did not have. Our students have access to instant information and the opportunity to collaborate with their classmates in a learning environment not limited to the physical classroom," he said in a release. "But technology also brings with it new challenges. The life students lead in the world of technology and social media is unlike the one we knew and our young people who have grown up with access to this technology their entire lives face a different landscape of social norms with their peers. Our job is to help them navigate this new world and their relationships in it.”

The series is presented by District 86 and District 181 in conjunction with the D181 Foundation and The Community House and was designed to inform and inspire families about issues in education and parenting.
