Residential Burglary, Domestic Battery: Hinsdale Police Reports
Hinsdale Police reports through Jan. 17.

The following items were taken from the Hinsdale police blotter. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Domestic Battery
- Deborah Nelson, 52, of the 400 block of South Jackson, was arrested at 8:14 a.m. Jan. 14 in the 400 block of Jackson for two counts of domestic battery and resisting arrest. She was taken to DuPage County Jail.
Theft

- Six Alpha batteries were stolen from a Comcast utility cabinet at 8:10 p.m. Jan. 12 in the 5700 block of South Grant. The theft totals $1,643.70.
- A seal fur coat and a mink scarf were reported missing sometime between July 2016 and March 2017 in the 0-100 block of East First Street. The items total $32,350.
Suspended/Revoked Driver's License
- Kamaria Pendelton, 43, of Calumet City, was arrested at 6:41 a.m. Jan. 10 at Ogden and Route 83 for driving on a revoked driver's license.
- Anita Chambliss, 25, of Berywn, was arrested at 10:40 p.m. Jan. 8 at Ogden and Adams for driving on a suspended license, speeding and no insurance.
Residential Burglary

- Vehicles were rummaged through and the victim received a text message that the garage door was opened at 3 a.m. Jan. 9 in the 200 block of North Quincy. Change and the garage door opener were taken.
Burglary From Motor Vehicle
- An unlocked vehicle in the 5500 block of South Oak was entered sometime between 9 p.m. Jan. 8 and 7 a.m. Jan. 9. A wallet, cash, and rewards cards were taken.
- An unlocked vehicle in the 900 block of South Quincy was entered sometime between 6:30 p.m. Jan. 8 and 4 p.m. Jan. 9. Sunglasses and a charger were stolen, totaling $720.
