Theft $500 And Under

A victim at Hinsdale Avenue and Garfield said that her bike was stolen from the bike rack located at the northwest corner of the intersection. It was stolen between 11:50 a.m. on July 27 and 7 p.m. on July 28. The pink cable lock was also missing.

A package that was tracked as delivered was not at the victim's residence in the 20 block of South Bruner at 12:16 p.m. on July 24. The victim’s blue recycling can was also missing.

Criminal Damage / Resisting Arrest

Ernestas Chasanovas, of Willowbrook was charged with criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest at 12:22 a.m. on July 26 in the 300 bloc of East 55th Street. The suspect was observed by a resident punching a vehicle and ran after being told to stop. He was then located and ran again after being told to stop.
