FBI's 15 Most Wanted Illinois Fugitives Of 2022
They include fugitives accused of murder, robbery, sexual assault and cyber crime, the FBI says.

ILLINOIS – The FBI's Chicago office has a list of its most wanted fugitives. While some are believed to have left the country, others may still be on the run here at home.
Here's the information from the list of the FBI's top 15 most wanted in Illinois for 2022, which can also be found on its website:

Darrell D. Singleton, 18: He is wanted for his alleged involvement in the armed robbery of a bank ATM and an armored vehicle in Lansing. About 11 a.m. Oct. 31, 2022, an armored vehicle service technician was robbed at gunpoint while restocking the bank ATM. Singleton and two accomplices, who are now in custody, forced the technician to open the ATM drawer before taking money from the ATM and armored vehicle, authorities said. Singleton is also alleged to have taken the technician's gun before fleeing, causing a crash with injuries while leaving the parking lot. He is described as black, 5-foot-6 and 140 pounds.

Jarvis Wright, 28: He is wanted in the death of a man after an argument at the victim's birthday party in Sauk Village. On July 17, 2021, Sauk Village police responded to a house after a report of gunfire, identifying one man who had been shot in the chest. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he died from his wounds. Wright is charged with first-degree murder. He is described as black, 175 to 180 pounds and about 5-foot-10 to 5-foot-11. He has ties to Wisconsin, Indiana and Chicago.

Nicholas Morris
Joshua T. Bobbitt, 22, and Nicholas Morris, 29: They are wanted for their alleged involvement in a vehicular homicide that occurred in Riverdale on Dec. 14, 2020. They are charged with first-degree murder. Bobbitt is described as black, 175 pounds and 6-foot-3. Morris is described as black, 220 pounds and 6-foot-2. Morris has ties to, and may still live in, Riverdale.

Charles C. Jones, 39: From 2009 to 2011, Jones is believed to have carried out armed robberies of victims and jewelry stores in Illinois and Ohio. On July 22, 2016, a federal warrant was issued for his arrest. He is charged with interference with commerce by threat or violence. He is described as black, 5-foot-8 and 180 pounds. He has tattoos on the top of both hands and forearms and the bottom of both forearms.

Saul Chavez, 47: He is wanted for his alleged involvement in a hit-and-run crash that resulted in the death of an elderly man. On June 8, 2011, a 66-year-old pedestrian was struck by a vehicle with Chavez behind the wheel, authorities said. After being struck, the pedestrian was said to have been dragged under the vehicle for about 265 feet and died as a result of his injuries. The FBI said Chavez left the vehicle and ran away. He was apprehended shortly after. He was charged with DUI. A warrant was issued for his arrest Nov. 28, 2011. He could not be found. On Jan. 9, 2012, Chavez was charged federally with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. He previously lived in Chicago.

Juan Najera Quezada, 64: He is being sought for his involvement in the sexual abuse of a 6-year-old girl in Chicago, according to the FBI. In August 2007, he was arrested by Chicago police officers after he was identified as sexually assaulting the child, who lived in the same apartment building as him. At the time of the incident, Quezada lived with a woman who ran a daycare service out of the home. He failed to appear in court following his release on bond and is also being sought for questioning in connection with the sexual assault of another child. Quezada, who previously worked in landscaping, is described as Hispanic, about 5-foot-4, 155 to 165 pounds and having black hair and brown eyes.

Arnoldo Jimenez, 40: Jimenez is accused of killing his wife on May 12, 2012, the day after their wedding. Authorities say he stabbed his wife, Estrella Carrera, to death in his black, four-door 2006 Maserati, then dragged her body into the bathroom tub of her apartment in Burbank. He was charged with first-degree murder in Cook County Circuit Court. A state warrant was issued for his arrest on May 15, 2012. A federal warrant was later issued on May 17, 2012, after Jimenez was charged federally with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. Jimenez may have fled to Durango, Mexico, specifically in the area of Santiago Papasquiaro. He also may frequent Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He also previously lived in Chicago. The FBI's photo of him is from 2011. He is described as Hispanic, 6 feet tall, 200 to 225 pounds, and having black hair and brown eyes.

Shaileshkumar P. Jain, 52, and Bjorn Daniel Sundin, 44: The men are wanted for their alleged involvement in an international cybercrime scheme that caused internet users in more than 60 countries to buy more than 1 million bogus software products, resulting in a consumer loss of more than $100 million. It is alleged that from 2006 to 2008, through fake advertisements placed on legitimate companies' websites, Jain, Sundin and their accomplices deceived internet users into believing that their computers were infected with "malware" or had other critical errors to encourage them to buy "scareware" software products that had limited or no ability to remedy the purported defects. The men deceived victims, through browser hijacking, multiple fraudulent scams and false error messages, into purchasing full paid versions of software products offered by their company, Innovative Marketing Inc., the FBI said. The proceeds of these credit card sales were allegedly deposited into bank accounts controlled by the defendants and others around the world, and were then transferred to bank accounts in Europe. When customers complained that their purchases were actually fraudulent software, call center representatives were said to be instructed to lie or provide refunds to prevent fraud reports to law enforcement or credit card companies. Jain and Sundin were indicted in Chicago on May 26, 2010, by a federal grand jury. That same day, a federal warrant was issued for their arrests. Jain, also known as Sam Jain, is described as Indian, 5-foot-8, 175 to 180 pounds and having black hair and brown eyes. He can speak English, Hindi and Portuguese. Sundin is described as white, 5-foot-10, 136 pounds, and having red hair and hazel eyes. He can speak English and Swedish.

Luis Rosado, 72: Rosado, along with an accomplice, were said to have entered a car dealership in Highland Park on Dec. 10, 1980, and robbed the salesman at gunpoint. He and his accomplice then bound the salesman and drove away with a stolen van from the dealership. After a high-speed police chase, both were arrested and charged with armed robbery, kidnapping, theft and aggravated battery. They were released on bond. Rosado failed to appear for his March 1981 trial. Rosado's accomplice was tried and convicted. Rosado had ties to New York City and Puerto Rico. He may travel to Havana, Cuba. He is believed to be an active member of the Fuerzas Armadas de Liberacion National de Puerto Rico, or FALN, a clandestine terrorist group, according to the FBI. He is described as Hispanic, 5 feet, 6 inches, 140 pounds, and having black hair and brown eyes. His nationality is Mexican.

Evelyn Guzman, 40; Oscar D. Vega, 43; Armando Vargas, 47; and Sergio Luis Martinez-Varela, 54: Between April and December 2004, the FBI and local, state and federal agencies conducted an investigation targeting an illegal drug trafficking and money laundering enterprise in the Chicago area. Of the 23 suspects charged as a result, a handful of fugitives remain, including the three on the most wanted list, the FBI said. Guzman is described as Hispanic, 5 foot-5, 130 pounds and having black hair and brown eyes. Vega is described as Hispanic, 5-foot-5, 175 pounds, and having black hair and brown eyes. Vargas is described as Hispanic, 5-foot-10, 175 pounds and having black hair and brown eyes. Martinez-Varela is described as Hispanic, 140 pounds, 5-foot-6, and having black hair and brown eyes. The nationality of all four is Mexican.
