School Trespassing, Wallets Missing: Hinsdale Police
Man is accused of climbing fence and entering school's gym, report says.
HINSDALE, IL — In recent days, Hinsdale police handled a variety of situations, including a DUI, a school trespassing, missing wallets and vandalism. Here is information from the latest reports:
- Adam D. Conklin, 22, of Willowbrook, was charged about 4:30 p.m. June 15 at Hinsdale Central High School, 5500 S. Grant St. with trespassing of state-supported property. He was seen on surveillance video climbing over a fence and entering the high school gymnasium. "No Trespassing All Property and Field Closed to Public" signage was posted on the fence that the suspect climbed over. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- A hit-and-run accident happened between 7:30 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. June 16 in the parking garage in the 900 block of North Elm Street. The victim reported damage to the rear of her car while she was parked in the parking garage.
- Anthony A. Hall, 21, of Berwyn, was charged shortly before midnight June 18 in the 100 block of East Ogden Avenue with possession of marijuana by a driver and improper lane use. Hall was released and given a date to appear in court.
- A victim reported his wallet was lost or stolen while he was playing Frisbee golf between 2 and 4 p.m. June 17 at Katherine Legge Memorial Park, 5901 S. County Line Road. On June 21, he reported his wallet was returned to him and was missing $20.
- Laura M. Martinez, 30, of Chicago, was arrested shortly after 3 a.m. June 18 at Ogden Avenue and County Line Road on charges of DUI, no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding. She submitted to testing that showed she was over the legal limit. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
- A woman informed police that her wallet went missing from her purse between 1 and 3 p.m. June 18 at Halo Salon, 45 S. Washington St. The wallet was valued at $100 and contained $300 in cash and credit cards.
- Someone splattered an unknown white substance on two parked cars and the pavement near the cars between 6 p.m. June 21 and 7:30 a.m. June 22 at a parking lot at 21 Spinning Wheel Road. A victim reported the substance came off in the car wash and there was no permanent damage.
Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
