Self Defense Class Hosted At Clarendon Hills Park District
The Clarendon Hills Park District will present an A.C.T. F.A.S.T. Women's Self Defense Seminar on Feb. 7.

CLARENDON HILLS, IL — The Clarendon Hills Park District will present an A.C.T. F.A.S.T. Women's Self Defense Seminar between 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7, at the Community Center, 315 E. Chicago Ave.
According to the park district, Mark Streator will lead the class. Personal tragedy in the form of a sexual assault of a former girlfriend led martial artist and extreme fighting champion Streator to an in-depth study of existing self-defense programs for women.
The park district said his seminar is taught on one night in order to accommodate the busy schedules of area women and focuses in on personal safety, situational awareness, and the ability to avoid or respond to personal attacks.
