Sledding Available In Clarendon Hills

CLARENDON HILLS, IL — Now that winter has truly arrived, the Clarendon Hills Park District is reminding residents that sledding is available in town. The park district said both Prospect Park and Park Avenue Park have sledding hills for kids.

Parents are reminded that sledding hills are not monitored, and it is important to review all safety signs posted at local parks. Always use designated walkways when heading up the hills.

If you decide to make a snowman instead of sledding, you can enter your snowman in the Clarendon Hills Park District's Snowman Photo Contest. Send all entries to valeriel@clarendonhillsparkdistrict.org, on or before Feb. 28. All photo submissions should include a name and contact information.
