Slurs '100% DID NOT Happen': Hinsdale Central Coach
Coach says it was disappointing that the person who made the false allegations will get away with it.
HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale Central High School's baseball coach on Sunday spoke out against allegations against his team.
On Friday, the school's principal, Bill Walsh, said the school found no evidence to support a person's allegations that team members used racial and other slurs against Lyons Township High players during an April away game.
A week earlier, Hinsdale High School District 86 told Patch it was investigating the allegations.

In an email to Patch, coach Jason Ziemer said he had been out of town the past few days. He said he generally agreed with pitching coach Brent Kittel's comments on the matter.
On Friday, Kittel told Patch no one heard the alleged slurs and that the game would have been stopped if they had been uttered.

Ziemer said he had discussed the issue multiple times with Kittel.
"It is our belief that it 100% DID NOT happen," Ziemer said. "If it did, it would have been addressed immediately by a coach, umpire, opposing coach/player or anyone at that game."
He also said, "It's disappointing that someone can make completely false accusations directed at a school, community and team like that, regarding a serious issue, and get away with it."
The complaint with the allegations appeared in the school's online public records database. The name of the person who complained was blacked out.
