Smoker At Hinsdale Police Station Charged: Cops
In another case, Golf clubs valued at $2,000 were stolen from an unlocked car, police said.
HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:
Smoking at police station
- Amy E. Colomb, 56, of Willowbrook, was cited about 4 a.m. Wednesday at the Hinsdale police station, 121 Symonds Drive, on a charge of smoking where prohibited. She was seen smoking cigarettes inside the station. She was released and given a date to appear in court.

- Golf clubs valued at $2,000 were stolen from an unlocked car between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Aug. 4 in a parking lot in the 100 block of East Ogden Avenue. The theft was reported four days later.
Damage
- Someone damaged a toilet in the men's restroom Aug. 8 at Robbins Park, 303 W. Seventh St.
Retail theft

- A suspect was seen on surveillance footage trespassing and stealing merchandise about 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Whole Foods, 500 E. Ogden Ave. The person had been previously served a no-trespass order. The case is pending.
