Volleyball Camps To Begin at Clarendon Hills Park District: September 23
It's a serve and a spike and a new season of volleyball fun at the Clarendon Hills Park District on Saturday mornings, beginning September 23 and running through October 28. All camps are being led by experienced coaches from Extreme Volleyball Professionals and will meet in the Clarendon Hills Middle School Gym. Each activity has an $85.00 resident ($106.00 non-resident) fee. Volleyballkidz.com is for young players in 1st-3rd grades and is set to met between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.. This introductory camp introduces the pass, set and spike using a very light volleyball. There is an emphasis on eye/hand coordination, left\ right coordination through full drills and games. Youth Volleyball Skills & Drills offers instruction for players in 4th and 5th grades, with an emphasis on setting, passing, overhand serving and spiking. Short games are played at the end of each class as well! The lesson plan for this class encourages self-mastery of numerous volleyball skills. This class will meet form 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.. Junior Volleyball Skills and Drills will meet from 11 a.m. until noon and is a more advanced class for middle school players. This clinic also reviews setting, passing, overhand serving and spiking.
