Stage Door Fine Arts Presents 'Elf The Musical' In Hinsdale

HINSDALE, IL — Stage Door Fine Arts at The Community Host will celebrate Christmas in July with performances of "Elf The Musical." The show will be presented at 7 p.m. on July 28 and 29 at The Community House, 415 W. Eighth St.

"Audiences are in for laughs, laughs and more laughs with 'Elf The Musical'," Don Smith, Stage Door Fine Arts’ artistic director, said in a release. "We are thrilled to celebrate Christmas in July this summer with such a fun musical. Our typical schedule of musicals presented at The Community House never allows for a Christmas show and there are so many great ones we’d love to produce so what better time than the month of July?"

"With the same hilarious story line of the film, plus high energy dancing and exciting new song, 'Elf The Musical' is more than just a great musical, it is a wonderfully entertaining celebration of discovering the true meaning of family!" Smith said in a release.

The cast of the musical features a talented cast ranging from second grade up through adults from all over the Chicago suburbs stretching from La Grange to Bartlett.

“We are thrilled to present a musical that provides awesome opportunities for actors of any age in the community. This is what Stage Door Fine Arts is all about," Paula Taylor, co-artistic director, said in a release.
