Stage Stars at the Clarendon Hills Park District

Take a Bow at New Theatre Class!

Let's take a bow! The Clarendon Hills Park District will present its new "Stage Stars" program this winter and spring, providing children with the unique opportunity to act, think creatively and perform in an original play on the final day of class. These fun filled classes will let boys and girls harness the acting tools they already possess - their bodies, voices and imaginations - to physically express ideas, transform themselves into multi-dimensional characters, and tell moving stories!!! What a wonderful way to build confidence and gain public speaking skills. Classes for children ages 6-8 will run from 3:45 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. on Thursday afternoons, Feb. 16-April 27. Children ages 8-10 will participate in this program from 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. on the same dates. All classes take place at the Clarendon Hills Park District Community Center, 315 E. Chicago Avenue. Fee for this program is $113.00 for residents of Clarendon Hills and $135.00 for non-residents. Please register in advance at the Clarendon Hills Park District. For more information, please call Emily Golembiewski at 630-323-2626.
