State Rep. Bellock To Host Property Tax Forum In Hinsdale
The forum will be held Sept. 7 at The Community House in Hinsdale.

HINSDALE, IL — State Representative and Republican Patti Bellock of Hinsdale invites Hinsdale residents to attend the forum, “Understand & Learn How to Appeal Your Property Taxes” to educate and empower homeowners about the process for determining property taxes and how to appeal if they are being over-assessed. Bellock's office said the forum is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
The forum will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7 in Kettering Hall at The Community House, 415 W. Eighth St., in Hinsdale. The topic will be presented by Greg Boltz, Downers Grove Township Assessor.
“We welcome every local homeowner to attend our property tax forum to learn about the process and get their questions answered,” Bellock said in a release. “We are grateful that our local assessors have agreed to offer these forums as an informational resource for area homeowners and property tax payers.”
