Stolen Bikes, Flag, Cash: Western Springs Cops
Bicycles were stolen from an unlocked detached garage and a front yard, police said.

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Western Springs police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:
- A bicycle was reported stolen June 24 from a front yard in the 5300 block of Central Avenue. It was valued at $425.
- A bicycle was reported stolen June 26 from an unlocked detached garage. It was valued at $2,000.
- A flag and a flag mount were reported stolen from a porch June 25 in the 1200 block of Maple Street.
- The village previously reported a robbery June 27 at FNBC Bank & Trust, 1013 Burlington Ave. In its weekly report, the police said a total of $6,050 in cash was stolen.
- A 24-year-old man of Chicago was cited about 12:30 p.m. June 26 at 48th Street and Wolf Road on charges of having no valid driver's license, driving an uninsured car and driving a car with a suspended registration. He was released on bond.
- A 21-year-old woman of Chicago was cited about 9:30 p.m. June 27 at 55th Street and Wolf Road on charges of having no valid driver's license and driving a car with a suspended registration. She was released on bond.
