Stolen Car Found, DUIs: Hinsdale Police Reports
Hinsdale Police reports through July 2.

The following items were taken from the Hinsdale police blotter. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Burglary To Vehicle
- An unknown suspect entered an unlocked car in the 200 block of Meadowbrook Lane sometime between 6 p.m. June 30 and 8:45 a.m. July 1. A wallet valued at $200, ID cards, a debit card and gift cards were stolen.
- An unknown suspect smashed a passenger side window of a car in the 0-100 block of South Vine Street sometime between 7:15 and 8:20 p.m. July 2. A purse was stolen from the passenger seat.
Motor Vehicle Theft

- A 2014 Toyota Avalon was stolen from a driveway in the 200 block of Meadowbrook Lane sometime between 9 a.m. June 30 and 8:45 a.m. July 1. Victim wasn't sure if the car was locked and believed the keys may have been in the car. A set of golf clubs valued at $1,500, two pairs of shoes valued at $150 and a garage door opener were inside the car.
- A 2015 Porsche Cayenne was stolen from in front of the victim's home in the 5700 block of Sutton Place sometime between 10:30 p.m. June 30 and 9:37 a.m. July 1. There were no signs of forced entry, and victim could not locate his car keys. A set of golf clubs valued at $500 and a cooler valued at $250 were inside the car. Chicago Police found the car in the 2000 block of West 69th Street at 4:30 p.m. July 2.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle
- A resident reported a car that did not belong to her parked in her driveway in the 200 block of Meadowbrook Lane at 9:46 a.m. July 1. The vehicle had previously been reported stolen out of Chicago.
DUI

- Tawny Simon, 24, of Romeoville, was arrested at 9:14 p.m. June 28 at County Line Road and 55th Street for DUI-alcohol and speeding.
- James Kilbane, 56, of Clarendon Hills, was arrested at North and Clay streets at 9:43 p.m. June 29 for DUI-alcohol and speeding.
Theft
- Jewelry was reported missing sometime between May 27 and May 31 from a bedroom closet in the 300 block of East 59th Street. The value is $7,500, and victim had a guest on those dates and suspects he stole the jewelry.
