Summer Camps Offered By Clarendon Hills Park District

CLARENDON HILLS, IL — The Clarendon Hills Park District will hold several summer programs and camps this year. The Leaders-in-Training program is for students entering sixth through ninth grade. The park district said the program is great for students who are natural-born leaders, enjoy being outdoors or working with younger children.

All Leaders-In-Training will work with camp groups; be mentored by members of the camp staff; have fun; and learn planning and communications skills. There are also opportunities are available in both Camp Imagination, a morning camp for children entering kindergarten through fifth grades in the fall; and Camp MVP, an afternoon sports camp, also for children entering kindergarten through fifth grades in the fall.

The leaders-in-training program will run Mondays through Thursdays, between June 18 and July 26. There is a $200 resident fee for the program.
