'Summer Nights Classic Car Shows' Featured In Online Auto Magazine

Downers Grove’s Summer Nights Classic Car Shows were recently featured in Web2Carz.com, an online magazine featuring daily articles on Autos, Lifestyle, People, Technology and Trends based in Highland Park.

Web2Carz reporter Lindsay Prossnitz took a trip through decades during a recent visit to the weekly classic car show.

“Classic cars have been an icon of American culture, and continue to be a source of celebration for auto enthusiasts and novices alike, with car shows popping up all over the country during summer. I’d be surprised if you couldn’t find a classic car show within a 50-mile radius of wherever you live.”

Pre-1985 cars line up on Main Street between Maple and Franklin in beautiful downtown Downers Grove every Friday night from 6 to 9 p.m. There are only a few more Summer Nights Classic Car shows left as the 2014 season draws to a close on August 29, leaving us all wondering where the summer went.

Summer Nights Classic Car Shows are hosted by the Downtown Downers Grove Management Corporation.
