Older children, tweens and teens with stars in their eyes will want to take a bow this summer at the Clarendon Hills Park District's 2019 Musical Theatre Camp. This year's talented crew of actors, singers and dancers will spend the months of June and July on stage, culminating in a performance of "Annie Jr." the final week of camp. This program will meet from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays, at the Clarendon Hills Middle School, June 10-July 18. Talented local director Suzanne Andersen of Hinsdale encourages a welcoming, all-inclusive atmosphere at this summer activity -- every camper receives a part in the show! There is even an opportunity for young artists to get involved with choreography, costume and prop selection and set design!
The Clarendon Hills Park District is currently accepting early bird registration for campers ages 8-17 at the Community Center, 315 E. Chicago Avenue. Regular business hours at the Community Center are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays through Fridays! The program fee at the early bird rate is $278.00 for residents of Clarendon Hills; $347.00 for residents of nearby communities. This discount will be extended through April 26.
