Former Monroe Teacher Barbara Hann Murphy Dies at 81
She taught first and second grades at Monroe School in Hinsdale before retiring in 1992.
Barbara Hann Murphy, who taught first- and second-graders at Monroe Elementary School in Hinsdale for 22 years before retiring in 1992, died June 11 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, Minn.. She was 81.
She formerly lived in Berkeley, La Grange Park and Downers Grove before moving to Wheaton in 1994.
Services have been held.
