Theft, DUI: Hinsdale Police
Someone stole $1,000 in cash from the Illinois Dermatology Institute, police say.

HINSDALE, IL — The Hinsdale Police Department released its latest blotter, which includes a theft at the Illinois Dermatology Institute and a bad check at King Keyser. Here's the information from the reports:
- A suspect paid $236 with a bad check in a transaction at King Keyser ski and snowboard shop, 41 S. Washington St., about 6 p.m. Jan. 22.
- A suspect stole $1,006 from an envelope containing a bank deposit that was in a cabinet drawer between 1:15 p.m. Jan. 24 and noon Jan. 27 at the Illinois Dermatology Institute, 901 N. Elm St. There were no signs of forced entry into the office.
- Frederick Dun Nuu, 44, of Romeoville, was arrested about 3:30 a.m. Jan. 23 in the 5500 block of South Garfield Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license. The suspect was stopped after a registration inquiry.
- A car legally parked in the 10 block of East First Street was struck in a hit-and-run accident between 6:30 and 8 p.m. Jan. 21.
- Slavoljub Slavo Petrovic, 28, of Lyons, was arrested shortly after midnight Jan. 26 at County Line Road and 47th Street on charges of DUI, disobeying a stop sign and driving too fast for conditions. The suspect refused testing to determine blood-alcohol level. The suspect was released to appear in court.
- Jonathan Avila, 22, of Franklin Park, was arrested shortly before 1 a.m. Jan. 28 at Route 83 and 31st Street on charges of not having a valid driver's license and speeding. He was released to appear in court.
