Theft At Hinsdale Store Reported 3 Days Later: Police
The store discovered the crime through surveillance video.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest police blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:
Retail theft
- A person was seen on surveillance video stealing cosmetic products about 5 p.m. Sept. 5 at Walgreens, 15 Grant Square. The theft was reported three days later. The case is pending.

- Someone attempted to cash a fraudulent check using a victim's bank account information about 4 p.m. Sept. 8 at US Bank, 21 W. Second St. The crime was reported a day later. The case is pending.
DUI
- A 41-year-old Oak Lawn man was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Aug. 15 at Ogden Avenue and York Road on charges of DUI, speeding 26 mph to 34 mph over the speed limit, improper lane use and driving an uninsured car. The man refused testing to determine his blood-alcohol content. He was given a court date and released.
