Tires Slashed, Rear Windows Broken On 17 Cars: Hinsdale Police Reports

HINSDALE, IL — Several vehicles have had their tires slashed in the past week in Hinsdale. According to police reports, officers responded to 17 reports of damage to vehicles over a 4-day period of July 25-29. In total, five rear windows were broken, three vehicles had all four tires punctured, two vehicles had two tires punctured, and seven vehicles had one tire punctured.

According to police reports, the damage occurred to vehicles in the 800 block of North Washington, the 600 block of South Madison, the 400 block of South Clay, the 200 block of South Clay, the 400 block of South Thurlow, the 200 block of South Monroe (seven reports), the 200 block of South Thurlow (two reports), the 100 block of South Madison and the 100 block of South Clay.
