Toddlers Invited To Create Masterpieces In Clarendon Hills

The Clarendon Hills Park District is inviting young children to "Munchkin Masterpieces."

CLARENDON HILLS, IL — The Clarendon Hills Park District is inviting young children to "Munchkin Masterpieces," an arts and crafts class for older toddlers and preschoolers. According to the park district, this parent-child class will explore color, shapes and textures.

A new story or musical adventure will be introduced at class each week. Session 1 is scheduled to run between 9 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. on Thursday mornings at the Clarendon Hills Park District Community Center, 315 E. Chicago Ave., from Jan. 25-March 1.

The program costs $60 for residents, and $75 for non-residents. The park district said Maria Tobin, Community Center Supervisor with the Clarendon Hills Park District, will teach the class.
