Top Hinsdale Official In Line For Raise
Department heads and other employees got pay increases in March, the village said.

HINSDALE, IL – The Hinsdale Village Board plans to vote Tuesday on a 3.5 percent pay raise for Village Manager Kathleen Gargano.
Under the proposal, her salary will amount to $225,432.
In May, department heads and other employees received raises ranging from 2.75 percent to 3.5 percent. A village memo said Gargano's percentage increase would be consistent with the others.

Gargano became the village manager in September 2013.
She was the assistant village manager for Wilmette from 1997 to 2013, according to her LinkedIn page. Hinsdale and Wilmette are among the wealthiest towns in Illinois.

She has her master's degree in administration from Northern Illinois University.
