Top Hinsdale Official May Get Pay Raise
The Village Board is set to consider an increase at Tuesday's meeting.
HINSDALE, IL — The Hinsdale Village Board is set to consider a raise for Village Manager Kathleen Gargano at its meeting Tuesday.
The board is considering a 2.25 percent raise, bringing Gargano's salary to $205,306.
According to a memo, Gargano has not received a raise since 2017. The recommendation is consistent with increases received by other management staff, the memo said.

Last May, department heads and other employees received a 2.25 percent increase, according to the memo.
Gargano has been Hinsdale's manager since 2013. According to her LinkedIn page, she was the assistant village manager in Wilmette from 1997 to 2013. Both are some of Illinois' wealthiest towns.

Gargano holds a master's degree in public administration from Northern Illinois University.
