HINSDALE, IL – In the last few days, Hinsdale police handled cases involving a car burglary, ticket fraud, vandalism and a DUI. Here is information from the latest Hinsdale police reports:

Car burglary

  • An unlocked car was burglarized overnight Monday in the 10 block of West 57th Street. The suspect rummaged through the interior. The case is pending.

  • A resident in the 400 block of South Monroe Street responded to an online marketplace listing for event tickets. The resident sent money to the suspect, but did not receive the tickets. The resident reported the incident June 2. The case is pending.

Vandalism

  • Someone scratched two cars parked in a driveway between May 29 and May 31 in the 500 block of Morris Lane.

DUI

  • A 34-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 4:30 a.m. Saturday at 56th and Madison streets on charges of DUI, improper lane use, improper stopping and driving with a suspended license. He refused testing to determine his blood-alcohol content. He was given a court date and released.
