Unlocked Car Stolen From Hinsdale Driveway: Police
In other cases, cars were burglarized on three streets, authorities said.

HINSDALE, IL – In the last few days, Hinsdale police handled cases involving car theft, car burglaries, a pursuit, damage and theft. Here is information from the latest Hinsdale police reports:
Car theft
- An unlocked car was stolen about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday from a driveway in the 900 block of South Park Avenue. The keys were inside. The case is pending.

- Cars were burglarized between 11 p.m. Monday and 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 10 block of Charleston Road, the 5600 block of Park Avenue and the 500 block of Princeton Road. Suspects entered unlocked cars and rummaged through the interiors. The case is pending.
Chase
- Tyler Minix, 27, of Atlanta, and Montese Amiel Blake, 29, of Decatur, Georgia, were arrested about 8:30 p.m. Oct. 23 after a pursuit. Hinsdale detectives said they saw the men acting suspiciously near the ATM at Chase Bank in the 400 block of East Ogden Avenue. Officers tried to stop them, but the suspects led them on a chase that ended in the parking garage at the Fashion Mall in Rosemont. The men ran away, but were arrested nearby. They were taken to the DuPage County Jail. Minix was arrested on a felony charge of aggravated unlawful use of a firearm, while Blake was charged with felony aggravated fleeing and eluding. Minix was wanted on Georgia warrants charging theft, burglary and obstruction of justice.
Damage

- People were seen on surveillance cameras breaking a window of a building in the 10 block of South Washington Street, which is downtown. It occurred about 8:30 p.m. Friday.
- Someone damaged Christmas lights on Halloween at two houses in the 100 block of South Washington Street. The crime was reported a couple of days later.
Theft
- Someone stole tools on Oct. 30 or Oct. 31 from a house under construction in the 600 block of North Grant Street.
