Unlocked Cars Targeted In Series Of Hinsdale Burglaries

HINSDALE, IL - There was a series of car burglaries reported in Hinsdale last week. Most of the incidents reported by police occurred during the overnight hours of June 11 to June 12. Blocks targeted were the 800 block of South Bodin Street, 800 block of S. Bruner St., 5700 block of S. Washington, 800 block of West 8th St., 600 block of S. Adams and 10 block of East Kennedy Lane.

The cars, most all parked in driveways, were entered and items such as an IPad, a checkbook, sunglasses valued at $155, a speaker, and a duffle bag containing miscellaneous clothing were reported stolen. About $3 in loose change was stolen from another car and a garage transponder from another.
