Theft
A witness saw an unknown suspect remove contents from the mailbox and drive away in a white Dodge minivan at 6:45 p.m. on June 25 at The Chapel, 620 N. Oak St. The witness described the suspect as a white male in his 40’s, bald and heavy build.

DUI
Rose Jones, 52, of the 1000 block of Washington Court was stopped at 55th and Grant streets at 11:40 p.m. on June 28 and charged with DUI - alcohol, DUI greater than .08 and speeding. Suspect was stopped for speeding. Suspect was observed to be under the influence. Suspect submitted testing that indicated she was over the legal limit.

Vehicle Theft
A victim in the 800 block of South Vine Street reported his 2015 Audi Q7 was stolen while it was parked in the street between 7:30 p.m. on June 28 and 7 a.m. on June 29. The victim was unsure if the vehicle was locked and reported a spare key may have been inside the vehicle, there were no signs of forced entry.
Theft
A victim at Casa Margarita, 25 E. Hinsdale Ave. reported she left her purse at the restaurant after dining. She later retrieved her purse from the restaurant and reported $160 was missing from her purse.
Battery
Conal Henry OKane, 18, of the 600 block of South Adams Street was charged with three counts of resisting arrest, battery and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a person under 21 at 6th and Thurlow streets at 3:30 a.m. on June 30. The suspect was observed to be under the influence of alcohol as he was walking on the street. The suspect resisted arrest and fought with police.
Burglary to Vehicle
An unknown suspect entered a victim's vehicle in the 800 block of South Clay Street between 7:45 p.m. on June 28 and 11:30 a.m. on June 30. Reported stolen was a cell phone and USB cord with an estimated value of $400. There were no signs of forced entry reported to the vehicle.
