1. Secure all doors and windows, use deadbolts on doors.

2. Decrease visible valuables - the tree looks great in the window, but everyone can see all the gifts, too.
3. Use extra lighting inside and out on timers and motion sensors to light up your home; vary the lighting times.

4. Keep shrubs and plants trimmed back from the house so they aren’t hiding places.
5. USE your alarm system!
6. Keep Fido at home with a pet sitter instead of boarding him. Barking is a great deterrent!
