Wallet Stolen, DUI: Hinsdale Police Reports

The following items were taken from the Hinsdale police blotter. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Burglary to vehicle

• An unlocked car was entered in the 400 block of South Grant sometime between 8 p.m. Aug. 19 and 12 p.m. Aug. 20. A wallet, containing IDs, debit card and cash, was stolen. Two fraudulent purchases were made using the debit card, totaling $134.24.

Possession of controlled substancce

• Anthony Arceo, 31, of Elburn, was arrested at 10:01 p.m. Aug. 23 at Chicago Avenue and Route 83 for no valid driver's license, speeding and operating an uninsured vehicle.

DUI

• Sondra Stedron Fowler, 46, of the 5800 block of Giddings Avenue, was arrested at 11:31 p.m. Aug. 23 at Garfield and 58th Street for DUI-alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid accident.
