Warrant, Theft, Vandalism: Hinsdale Cops
Officers arrest a man whose car was broken down, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:
Warrant
- A 71-year-old Des Plaines man was arrested about 10 a.m. Thursday at 55th and Grant streets on a Calhoun County, Illinois, warrant. Police saw the man in a broken-down car. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
Identity theft

- A resident in the 500 block of North Grant Street told police that his credit cards were stolen Oct. 16. Someone used them to make fraudulent purchases.
- A resident in the 200 block of East Fourth Street told police Friday that someone filed a fraudulent tax return using the resident's identity. The fraud occurred between May 1 and Oct. 18.
- A resident in the 800 block of South Bodin Street told police Friday that someone opened a credit card account using the resident's name and made fraudulent charges.
Vandalism
- Someone spray-painted graffiti on the restroom wall at Robbins Park, 303 W. Seventh St. The damage was reported Monday.
