Western Springs Woman Arrested In Hinsdale
She was accused of domestic battery in a local neighborhood, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:
Domestic battery
- A 55-year-old Western Springs woman who lives in the 10 block of 39th Street was arrested in Hinsdale on a charge of domestic battery. The incident was about 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Princeton Road in Hinsdale. She was taken to the Cook County Jail.
Retail theft

- An 18-year-old Downers Grove man was arrested on a charge of retail theft. Police said he was seen on surveillance footage stealing an $800 purse on March 19. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
Forgery
- Soltwisch Plumbing, 422 Chestnut St., told police March 20 that someone intercepted a business check that was sent in the mail and altered the payee and the amount.
Bad check

- A person paid Fuller's Service Center, 102 W. Chicago Ave., with a bad check on Feb. 14. The incident was reported Friday. The case is pending.
DUI
- A 32-year-old Chicago man was arrested shortly after midnight Sunday in the 600 block of West Ogden Avenue on charges of DUI and improper lane use. The man refused testing to determine his blood-alcohol level. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
