Westmont Man Spits On Hinsdale Cops: Police

The suspect is taken to the DuPage County Jail.

HINSDALE, IL — A Westmont man who crashed into a tree got into more trouble Saturday after he spit in police officers' faces, according to a police report.

John P. Kaminski, 28, of Westmont, was arrested Saturday night on two counts of aggravated battery to police officers, DUI, reckless driving, driving too fast for conditions and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Police responded about 9:30 p.m. to the crash near Adams and Sixth streets. Kaminiski did not report any injuries from the crash, but officers said they determined he was under the influence of alcohol. The report said he resisted arrest and spit in the officers' faces.

Kaminski was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
