Westmont Woman Attacks Hinsdale Nurses: Police
In another case, a Hinsdale man was arrested on DuPage County warrants.

HINSDALE, IL – In the last few days, Hinsdale police handled cases involving an aggravated battery, a gun violation, a burglary and a forgery. Here is information from the latest Hinsdale police reports:
Aggravated battery
- Amanda Perez, 24, of Westmont, was arrested about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hinsdale hospital, 120 N. Oak St., on two felony counts of aggravated battery of a nurse. She made contact of an "insulting or provoking nature" with registered nurses, police said. She was released and given a date to appear in court. Patch has filed a public records request with the police department.
Warrant

- James M. Meyer, 38, who lives in the 400 block of South Lincoln Street in Hinsdale, was arrested about 2 p.m. Saturday at Fourth and Lincoln streets on DuPage County warrants. Police said he had a suspected controlled substance and paraphernalia. Charges are pending the results of a lab report. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Weapons charge
- Dasha R. Temple, 31, of Milwaukee, was arrested about 11 p.m. Friday at Ogden Avenue and Route 83 on a felony charge of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. Police found a loaded handgun in Temple's purse. She did not have a valid firearm owner's identification, or FOID card. She was also cited on charges of disobeying a traffic signal and having no valid driver's license. Temple was released and given a date to appear in court.
Burglary

- Suspects were seen on surveillance video forcing entry into Current Automotive, 300 E. Ogden Ave., and trying to open cars in the garage. Lug nuts were missing from cars. The incident occurred about 3 a.m. Saturday. The case is pending.
Forgery
- Someone forged a business check between Dec. 29 and Jan. 1 at Continental AutoSports, 420 E. Ogden Ave.
