Winter Break Sports Camps Held In Clarendon Hills

CLARENDON HILLS, IL — Get the kids out of the house and let them learn and play at the upcoming sports camps at the Clarendon Hill Park District. The park district said Hot Shots Sports will present two camps during the last week of winter break.

The "Sports and More Camp" is for young athletes ages 4 to 6 and will meet from 9 a.m. to noon, Jan. 2-Jan. 4 at the Clarendon Hills Park District Community Center. The park district said kids will enjoy basketball, floor hockey, football, kickball, soccer, t-ball, sports and other group games.

There will also be a camp for older kids ages 7-14. "Total Sports Camp" will meet from 9 a.m. to noon, Jan. 2 - Jan. 4 at the Clarendon Hills Middle School Gymnasium. This camp will focus in on flag football, basketball, baseball, kickball, soccer, capture the flag, and other group games, the park district said.

Cost of either program is $90 for residents of Clarendon Hills and $113 for residents of nearby communities. Pre-registration for both of these programs is required.
