Winter Drive-In Movie at the Clarendon Hills Park District

January 7 Family Event: No "Brakes" on Winter Fun in 2017!

The Clarendon Hills Park District will start off the New Year with a fun and novel family event -- a Winter Drive-In Movie on Saturday evening, January 7. Families are encouraged to create a cardboard "car" at home over the ongoing break from local schools, bringing these vehicles to the Clarendon Hills Middle School at 5 p.m. on Saturday, January 7. There will be themed family activities for the first 30 minutes of this event, followed by a showing of the Disney Pixar classic "Cars" at 5:30 p.m.. (Please enter through the Clarendon Hills Park District doors at 315 E. Chicago Avenue)! Watch as Lightning McQueen takes a detour into the slow moving Route 66 town of Radiator Springs, befriending Mater, the Tow Truck, and Sally, the Porsche, learning that life is more about the voyage than the outcome of the race! This event is free of charge, however, advance registration at the Clarendon Hills Park District, 315 E. Chicago Avenue, is required by January 3. Drive-in cardboard cars are encouraged, but not required! For more information, please call the Clarendon Hills Park District at 630-323-2626.
