Woman In Hinsdale Asleep At Wheel, Charged With DUI: Cops
The village's police made two drunk driving arrests in the last few days.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police made two DUI arrests in the last few days. Here is the information from the reports:
- A 30-year-old Chicago woman was arrested about 1 a.m. Sunday at Route 83 and Chicago Avenue on charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license, driving an uninsured car, illegal stopping where prohibited, improper use of registration, and transportation and possession of alcohol by a driver. Police said the woman, who had an open container of alcohol, was stopped on the road's shoulder, where she was asleep at the wheel. She submitted to testing that indicated she was over the legal limit. She was given a court date and then released.
- A 38-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of West 55th Street on charges of DUI, illegal transportation or possession of alcohol by a driver, and improper lane use. He refused testing to determine his blood-alcohol content. He had an open container of alcohol. He was given a court date and then released.
