World's Largest Swimming Lesson Returns to the Lions Park Pool
June 22 Event Set to Break a World's Record
You are invited to make history on Thursday, June 22 when the Clarendon Hills Park District participates in the World's Largest Swimming Lesson! This local event will take place between 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. at the Lions Park Pool and is open to swimmers and non-swimmers ages 3-16 years of age. Participants will enjoy a complimentary 30 minute swimming lesson and the opportunity to become part of the Guinness Book of World Records! On this date, pools and water parks around the world will be hosting swim instruction at the exact same time. The goal of this event is to promote safety awareness at pools, water parks and lakes, while encouraging all parents to ensure that children learn to swim at an early age!
